Renovation: 1,000 square feet within a high-end personal shopping styling studio with 9×9 dressing room
Sheetrock/drywall: demolition on existing walls, including restroom walls
Plumbing: plumbed in a full private restroom and a wet bar area
Electrical: installation of electrical panel and track lighting
Millwork: custom cabinetry equipped with mirrors and custom glass doors
Painting: gray walls, black deck, and all-exposed pipes in black
Stud work: metal

Through daily management supervision, we minimized downtown to achieve timeline and deliverables. Our hands-on management team was on site daily during the construction phase to oversee the workflow and ensure smooth operations.

Our work focused on deluxe features: wet bar, track lighting, custom glass doors, and the industrial vibe of all-exposed black pipes.

We also considered the unique and exclusive nature of the business itself and balanced privacy within the dressing area with the social aspects of the space, which could also provide hosting events.

Results

The proof is in the pictures: aesthetically stunning space for upmarket shoppers who value a world-class retail experience. When the focus is on upscale build-outs, finish-outs, and build-to-suit services, then aesthetics and artistry are must-have elements.

The 45-day time frame was achieved on budget and as scheduled, and The Studio debuted in the fall of 2017 with an impressive amount of press coverage. The demolition of “the old” resulted in the installation of “the new”—exquisite interior square footage that adds functionality and a “wow” factor.
