Through our September 11 observance each year, we, as a community, will never forget the impact on our nation. The image above is courtesy of the 9/11 Memorial & Museum, a testament to our collective memory.

Welcome to Development with Danielle©, my weekly “Women in Construction” blog

Hi, I’m Danielle Wright, President and CEO of Right Choice Construction. Dutifully, we mark the anniversary of 9/11 with a vow never to forget this tragic event in American history and to forge forward in support of our great nation.

This year, I explored the 9/11 Memorial & Museum online in remembrance of what New Yorkers — and all of America — endured on that fateful day.

September 11 Observance From The 9/11 Memorial & Museum Website

“Located at the World Trade Center in New York City, the 9/11 Memorial Museum tells the story of 9/11 through media, narratives, and a collection of monumental and authentic artifacts, presenting visitors with personal stories of loss, recovery, and hope.

The 9/11 Memorial & Museum is committed to providing ongoing resources for students, teachers, families, and the general public. By providing a host of tailored educational programs and resources for students, teachers, families, and the general public, the Museum strives to foster a deeper understanding of 9/11 and its ongoing legacy.

Each day, we remember the victims, the families, and survivors dealing with loss, recognizing the lasting consequences of 9/11 on individual lives. We actively engage with 9/11 family members, survivors, and rescue and recovery workers to offer services, education, and moments of connection and healing.”
