Mother’s Day is very special to my family, considering I have the best mother in the world. She’s shaped my world and inspires me daily. I’m so blessed with the very best mother-in-law, too. As mothers and grandmothers, they set the standard!

Observing Mother’s Day
Mother’s Day falls on May 12th this year. Since 1914, Americans have celebrated Mother’s Day, designated by President Woodrow Wilson as a national holiday. Ever since, we’ve recognized the incredible women who raise us, cheer us on, and teach us the valuable lessons of life.
Definitely take time to check in with your mother figures, including stepmothers and grandmothers! Perhaps you have a special aunt or mentor who has impacted your journey. Maybe a next-door neighbor has been a blessing. Mother’s Day is an excellent time to thank and honor them, perhaps with flowers, chocolate, or the poem below:

For everything you share.
But thank you most of all
For the way you support and care.
