Whatever culture or career path, it’s great to recognize just how far we’ve come. International Women’s Week and International Women’s Day
Many in business and the trades celebrate International Women’s Week during the first week of March. We also look forward to International Women’s Day on March 8, dedicated in 1977 by the United Nations General Assembly to advance women’s rights.
Women in Construction Week
Even more exciting from a construction perspective is Women in Construction Week, recognized from March 5th–11th. The National Association of Women in Construction (NAWIC) does a fantastic job sharing resources that enable everyone to get on board and spread the message during all seven days of NAWIC’s 25th Annual Women in Construction Week.
