To help kick off Pride Month, Right Choice Construction was thrilled to attend the Pride in Business Celebration, an event hosted by the Houston LGBT Chamber. The Pride in Business event recognizes members and stakeholders for their contribution to a more diverse and inclusive Houston, and their awards spotlights companies and individuals for their support of the Houston LGBT community. As a general contractor in Houston, we make frequent connections with a diverse pool of Houstonians and are ecstatic to show our support for the community.
Pride in Business’s 2025 theme celebrates and recognizes the 10th anniversary of marriage equality and the Supreme Court passing of Obergefell v. Hodges, which assisted in expanding equal rights for the LGBTQIA+ community.
Additionally, Pride in Business’s special guest for the event was none other than Jim Obergefell, the lead plaintiff in the 2015 Supreme Court case! What’s a better way to celebrate this anniversary than to include this pivotal character?
